ABOUT
KISPED Kenya is a community-led, LGBTIQ-focused advocacy organization that uses sports, media and arts to advance dignity, inclusion, safety, equality and meaningful participation. We work with LGBTIQ people, athletes, young people, families, allies and community partners to challenge discrimination, expand opportunities and support people to live with dignity.

To advance the rights, dignity, safety and wellbeing of LGBTIQ people by using sports, media and arts to create safe spaces, develop talent, strengthen livelihoods, amplify community voices and build inclusive communities.

Our Programs
Sports4change
Formulated queer women football club (KISPED QUEENS) purposely towards creating safe space for young queer women to nurture and promote their talents through football.
ART PROJECT
Conducting various artistical events through the use of different genres such as (music, dance, poetry/narratives) this is purposely towards advocacy initiative and narrating our stories through arts by depicting our lived reality which is full of the burden of stigma and discrimination.
MEDIA
Documenting various LGBTIQ and allies lived reality stories, production of films and comic book, engaging with various media personality and institutions within the region.
